40th Anniversary Exhibition Wagon

To commemorate its 40th anniversary in 2007, the N Gauge Society has commissioned two special edition versions of the superb Dapol Habfis 2 ferryvan.

The models depicts the same wagon (2797 664-0) both in the attractive yellow, brown and white “Taunton Cider” livery of the 1980s, and after its subsequent repaint into all over “slate blue” with Cargowaggon branding. It is understood that the wagon has carried this livery to the present day.

On the prototype, both of these liveries were one-offs, so these models form an attractive historical record of one particular vehicle’s colourful and unique career!

The model is being produced in a limited run of 750 of each, and is sure to become a collector’s item. Each will be packaged in the sturdy Dapol clear plastic box with foam packing, however to reflect their status they will feature specially designed box sleeves.
