Wagon chassis (3NGS99):
Bachmann have been clearing out their warehouse again and as a result the Society Shop has purchased a quantity of wagon chassis. I am advised that these chassis are from the PCA range and are a 16ft wheelbase Gloucester Floating Axle Suspension type.

These chassis consist of the plastic moulding only and have no wheels, no couplings and no coupling springs or weights. Richard Bardsley has kindly done some research on behalf of the shop and has indicated that they would make a good substitute for some Peco 15ft wheelbase tank bodies in some instances, a chassis for the POA scrap wagon and also the CO2 tanks

These chassis are being offered at the following prices:

1 chassis - £1.00
5 chassis - £4.75
10 chassis - £9.40
20 chassis - £18.75

Finally the bad news. Following a price increase by Peco of all their chassis kits, I have to advise members that the price of Society kits which use Peco chassis will be increased with effect from 1st January 2005. So if you are thinking of purchasing some Society kits, get those orders in now before the price increase comes into effect.
