The Mill Lane Sidings Gallery

Mill Lane Sidings are pleased to announce that they will be launching their first wagon kit at the N Gauge Society AGM and exhibition on 28th May 2005 at Barrow-Upon-Soar.

The kit makes one of the 4 wheel Palethorpes Vans. The LMS built two of these vans to Diagram D1958 in 1936 which lasted well into the BR period, specifically for carrying the products of Palethorpes which led to the dedicated livery. The roof hatches gave access to ice bunkers which kept the interior cool. In the mid-1950s they were taken off Palethorpes duties and used as passenger rated vans.

The kit is made from laser cut wood, plastic, resin, etched brass, white metal and printed sides. It is complete except for glue. The price is just £7.00

A new wagon kit will be launched by Mill Lane Sidings at the N Gauge Show in Leamington Spa in September for the Great Western Railway AERO. These unique wagons were built to carry three bladed aeroplane propellers in crates. The kit requires a Peco 10ft wheelbase chassis. The photo is a pre-production model.
