     Title: 45th Anniversary RoadShows

For previous celebrations our Society has run a dedicated exhibition, but with the advent of the International N Gauge show in Warwickshire it would be silly to stage a competitive event. This year we celebrate our 45^th anniversary, so we are planning 6 RoadShows at selected exhibitions, which we hope will bring N gauge and the Society to an even wider audience. Alongside the attendance of the Society Stand, the RoadShow will be open to all visitors not just society members.

The RoadShow will offer visitors the opportunity to build one of our Society kits. This has been made possible due to the sponsorship of Parkside Dundas, Freestone and Peco, who are providing the kits, tools, glue and chassis. Other attractions will include loco clinics with demonstrations of how to care for and maintain locos and rolling stock.  The clinic will look at common problems that can occur with N gauge models.

Finally there will be the opportunity to get driver experience by operating a N gauge layout with advice on how to produce an exhibition standard layout, get it noticed and get it booked for exhibitions.
