Model Registration

Untitled document

The Competition is always popular and to assist with the smooth running of the event we ask members to register their entries in advance with the Competition Co-ordinator Steven Bateman. Registration forms can be found in the Journals preceeding the AGM or can be downloaded from this page in either PDF or Word format. Forms can be sent via email or post. Some advance entrants last year did not make it to the AGM & AMMC but we would rather you send the form in anticipation of attending than miss out on the day!

Registration forms are available here, in PDF or Word format.

If you can't attend the Competition in person, models can be entered by posting your models to the competition Co-ordinator. Please get in touch with Steven if you intend to submit and entry via the post to discuss arrangements for sending entries and having them returned to you.

The closing date for registering entries and the address to post the forms to can be found in the Journal. Alternatively they may be emailed to

The form has a short title for the model (e.g. GWR 2-6-2T Prairie) which will appear on the certificate and a section in which to describe the model (75 words maximum). Judging such a wide field in terms of models and standards is not easy, and it is often difficult to know the origins of a model, or the amount of work that has gone into it. The full description will be given to the judges to help them, so it’s in your own interests to fill this section in!
